2024年世界新聞攝影大賽獲獎者由獨立評審團從來自130個國家、3851名攝影師的超過61,000份參賽作品中選出，2024年世界新聞攝影大賽的獲獎者及榮譽提名者共有來自24個國家的31名攝影師。

今年觀眾們將從展場中的129幅照片上看到關於失智、青年失業、氣候危機、難民遷徙、戰爭傷亡、身份認同等等的議題。而無論這些照片講述著什麼，當我們闔上雙眼時，會發現所有故事的最終都牽涉到「家」。家的溫暖與疏離，家的崩解與重建，家的愛恨與愁苦，家的互助與共生。

世界新聞攝影展每年的影像故事您或許陌生，您或許熟悉，您或許覺得事不關已，您或許覺得至關重要。無論如何，我們希望這些發生在不同文化裡的人間事引發討論、感受與回應。願這些有悲有喜有笑有淚的議題使我們更多些共感共情的能力，或至少心生惻隱地面對這個世界。

Through the 129 photographs in this year's exhibition, we explore themes like dementia, war, youth unemployment, the climate crisis, migration, and identity. No matter the story—whether of joy or sorrow, reunion or separation—it always leads back to the concept of home. Home can be warm or distant, broken or rebuilt, filled with love, pain, or support.

Each year, the stories in the World Press Photo Exhibition may seem distant or deeply relevant. These stories of joy, sorrow, and struggle can deepen our empathy and understanding of the world.
