This advanced-level workshop was at first open to amateurs but later only available to professionals. Amateurs and professionals alike, after a few days of immersive experience, they’ve all learned far beyond contemporary goldsmith.
Through the guidance of Franz, who has abundant life experience, vision, and creative experiences, students were able to establish modes of thinking that are multilayered and nuanced. And with Franz sharing and passing down his skills, students finished their creations more delicately.

Professor Franz Bette is spring breeze, warm winter sun, and a bright moon at night. He is an uninhibited child at heart and calm and composed in manner. For all the workshops he held throughout the years, he had shared most of his knowledge, exhausted his strengths, and unselfishly poured out his heart and soul.
