Why are we born?
What is the meaning of life?
What is so-called “progress”?
What is the relationships between me and others?
How do we relate to everything around us?
--------------------------
In February 2024,
our work team set foot in Nepal,
where every experience we encountered
unveiled profound contemplations.
Nepal, nestled between the borders of China and India,
situated at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas,
four times the size of Taiwan.
During our time there,
we traversed cities and villages blanketed in golden dust,
crossed mysterious wilderness forests,
and ventured into solemn temples and enchanting sacred sites.
We beheld the genesis of sustainable architecture shaped by collective efforts,
and witnessed overdevelopment seen globally.
We engaged with communities residing near national parks,
villagers united by mutual support,
devoted to the preservation of nature and heritage,
and encountered conservationists dedicated to
safeguarding the delicate balance of ecosystems,
cherishing both fauna and humanity.
The roads we traveled,
the people we met,
the topics we discussed
brought not only inspiration but also enlightenment.
These revelations involve the environment and concern education and society,
but what they touch most deeply
are the fundamental questions of life and living.
Finally, may this exhibition be like a seed ball of contemplation,
sown gently into the fertile soil of consciousness,
some seeds will take root at the right time,
sprout, grow tall, bloom, and bear fruit,
just like us.
